Alyssa Jiwani (she/her) is an actor, director, choreographer, singer, dancer, educator, and arts administrator from Seattle, WA. Alyssa Jiwani is a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of Drama, receiving a BFA in Drama and minors in Applied Theatre and Educational Theatre. Alyssa is based in Seattle, WA, New York, NY, and Vancouver, BC.
Alyssa is the founder and artistic director of The Virtual Theatre Co, an online theatre education organization she created during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She currently works as a Teaching Artist with Disney Musicals in Schools, Seattle Theatre Group, and Broadway Inclusion Program. She also works as a Theatre Educator, Director, and Choreographer for Dandylyon Drama. Alyssa is also an administrator with Seattle Theatre Group's Education & Community Engagement department!
Alyssa is incredibly passionate about increasing diversity, accessibility, and inclusivity in the theatre industry. Her work in this regard has been featured by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Actor Aesthetic blog and podcast, Broadway World, Broadway Podcast Network, and more!

She was recognized for her work in choreography, direction, and leadership at the 5th Avenue Theatre Awards, receiving a Special Honors in Outstanding Student Achievement.
